About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled RF Design Engineer to lead the engineering development, prototyping, design verification, and transition to production of complex analog, digital, and radio frequency (RF) products. This role requires a collaborative individual who can work across multiple departments to enhance product design and test throughput while providing technical support to customers and suppliers.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree from a four-year accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Prior experience with troubleshooting or designing RF components.
Experience with PCB projects, including design of the board, schematic, and circuit.
Proficiency in Schematic Capture and CAD.
Must be eligible to obtain DoD Security Clearance

Nice To Haves

Experience in military contracting is a plus.
Familiarity with design and development process models such as CMMI and Six Sigma for Design.

Responsibilities

Work cross-functionally with program management, procurement, operations, manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, test, production, business development, and contracts.
Create innovative ideas in support of internal research and development.
Generate and implement improvements in product design and test throughput.
Interface directly with customers and suppliers to resolve technical issues.
Provide training, mentorship, and leadership to engineering and test staff.
Research and apply electrical engineering principles and theories to solve customer problems.
Support full program life cycles including concept, specification, prototype, production, and sustainment.
Lead teams of design engineers using established design and development process models such as CMMI and Six Sigma for Design.
Create, review, and approve Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Requests for Variances (RFVs).
Support and lead systems engineering, software engineering, and mechanical engineering efforts.
Create and update corporate and engineering processes and procedures.
Perform other functions as needed to support the company's goals.
