Further Information About This Opportunity: This position is in Chelmsford, Massachusetts - Located approximately 30 miles northwest of Boston, Chelmsford embodies New England charm. Requirements

  • Post Secondary STEM Degree with at least 1+ years of experience.
  • Experience with troubleshooting designs and resolving integration issues for RF applications.
  • Familiarity with the use of RF microwave test equipment and microwave simulation tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Candidate must be eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance and be able to obtain at least an Interim Secret Clearance before starting the position, therefore you must be a US Citizen.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred or BS Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) accepted plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant professional engineering experience or a related Masters degree.
  • Active DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance.
  • Relevant experience in the defense electronics industry, including RF applications.
  • Experience with RF subsystems and hardware including antennas, transmitters, receivers, microwave components, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, advanced electronic modules, amplifiers, mixers, switches, frequency generation circuits, and frequency conversion circuits.
  • Prior RF design experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with microwave simulation tools for RF system design.
  • Experience with microelectronics assembly techniques.
  • Experience with technical documentation such as specifications, schematic drawings, and test data.
  • Hands-on hardware experience.
  • Familiarity with production and manufacturing environments.
  • Ability work in a team collaborative environment especially with manufacturing and industrial engineers and/or operator on production support.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the development and production of complex multi-function modules in all phases of the product life cycle.
  • Aiding in the design and development of circuits, modules, and sub-systems from initial concept through prototyping and full rate production.
  • Assisting in efforts to uncover and resolve issues associated with the implementation of operational products.
  • Collaborating with other engineering disciplines including hardware engineers, systems engineers, and circuit design engineers as well as technical and manufacturing support personnel.
