Requirements

  • 2 - 3 + years in automotive electronics or telematics.
  • Experience with wireless and access communication systems
  • Knowledge of tire pressure sensors, CAN/LIN networks, and vehicle diagnostics.

Responsibilities

  • Implement engineering changes successfully within timing and approved costs through portals, involving follow-ups with stakeholders like change management teams, suppliers, EBOM specialists, and designers.
  • Manage suppliers to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Manage GIMs during vehicle development/production, reviewing validation issues, troubleshooting, coordinating root-cause investigations, implementing design/process improvements, and closing as issue solver
  • Lead & supervise software and hardware validation activities from the T1 supplier for the EE module.
  • Conduct GIM (Global Issue Management) root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Handle warranty/quality GIMs by analyzing claims, DTCs, failure symptoms, collaborating on corrective actions, validating fixes, and closing for TPMS/RFHM
  • Raise requisitions with backup documents, obtain approvals, and release POs to suppliers for engineering changes, homologation certificates, and part requests
  • Manage SW releases, surveys, drawing updates, and work orders for EE module, ensuring integration with GIMs and change management.
  • Coordinate engineering and validation activities across RFHM and TPMS programs.
  • End-to-end submission/validation of compliance reports for wireless devices (global), managing data, updating reports, and coordinating audits for EE ECUs.
  • Solve quality issues through steps: define problem, assign responsibilities, identify root causes/permanent corrective actions, implement, and close.
  • Interface with T1 suppliers for root-cause analysis.
  • Develop documents for educating dealers/customers on ECU issues, SW releases, and service procedures.
  • Coordinate follow-ups with stakeholders for changes, POs, and compliance; maintain documentation for audits, including VFs and CR updates.
  • Support development of next-gen security modules
