About The Position

The RF Antenna & Radome Team at Raytheon is seeking a talented Engineer to lead and shape antenna, radome, and antenna measurement system technology. The role involves contributing to diverse teams, providing technical oversight, and collaborating with engineering organizations to establish technology roadmaps and enable modernization. The candidate will also work with government personnel to define and refine requirements for hardware compliance.

Requirements

• Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in antenna element design and fabrication
• Experience in antenna simulation and modeling
• Experience in antenna measurements in near or far field systems
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
• U.S. citizenship is required

Nice To Haves

• Master of Science (MS) or PhD in electrical engineering
• Strong experience managing and presenting technical data to stakeholders
• Experience designing and delivering conformal antenna designs
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong interpersonal skills in a team environment
• Experience presenting to FRB, ERB, CCB, MRB
• Understanding of near-field-to-far-field processing algorithms
• Experience designing datalink, flight termination, and telemetry antenna systems
• Proficiency with Python, MATLAB, and/or other high-level scientific programming languages
• Proficiency with modeling & simulation tools such as HFSS, CST, FEKO, SENTRi and GRASP

Responsibilities

• Develop antenna or radome hardware and requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary engineering teams including thermal, structural, mechanical, and systems engineering
• Work with antenna manufacturing suppliers
• Analyze simulation or test data to verify performance against requirements
