Sorts through backs prior to offal and remove edible thighs,drums and leg ¼’s. Primary tasks are visually inspecting backs as they fall onto platform located directly in front of workstation. Inspection is to identify edible thighs, drums and leg ¼’s that are mixed within them and remove. Backs are asided to either the offal vacuum system or into a box located adjacent to the workstation. In either event, the motion is a sweeping motion with one or both hands, pulling the backs onto a chute mounted on the side of the platform. Edible parts are either tossed onto a conveyor (leg ¼’s) or cut into drum & thigh and placed into a tub adjacent to workstation. This position is for 2nd Shift (generally from 4:30PM to 2AM). All applicants must provide their government identification number so the system can verify any previous Tyson employment history. This facility will not accept applicants that have worked for Tyson Foods more than 3 times. This facility accepts rehires after 365 days. Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on the reason for dismissal
