Analog Devices Inc., Chelmsford Massachusetts facility is looking for a Rework Technician to support our continued growth in the manufacture of high-performance microwave modules and sub-systems. Customers trust Analog Devices to deliver integrated electronics, and ADI is interested in energetic and organized team players that want to deliver quality products in a high-tech manufacturing environment. We are looking for electro/mechanical assemblers with: 5+ years working as a Micro assembly/Mechanical assembly preferred or related experience Candidates should have Class 3 soldering skills per IPC-610 All applicants must be team players highly motivated to learn the complex assembly requirements of microwave systems. This is a hands-on position that requires a strong ability to work on delicate parts utilizing a microscope Communication skills and commitment to quality products are extremely important This role includes working on continuous improvement teams along with development engineering and manufacturing

Requirements

  • High school diploma required . A diploma from a Vocational High School or Technical Diploma is a plus.
  • Must be a US citizen , government security clearance is required.
  • Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions/documentation
  • Commitment to learn and develop new skills

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years working as a Micro assembly/Mechanical assembly preferred or related experience
  • Candidates should have Class 3 soldering skills per IPC-610
  • Current clearance holder preferred!

Responsibilities

  • Ability to work 8 hours under the microscope utilizing miniaturized hand tools such as tweezers and fine screwdrivers
  • In-process inspection and self-inspection
  • Hand solder components, wires, and jumpers into the assemblies per IPC-610
  • Assemble and/or solder electronic components to printed circuit boards
  • MMIC Die attach of chip components using silver epoxy
  • Hybrid circuit assemblies using silver epoxy and solder
  • Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets, prints and drawings
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
  • Good computer skills are required to support retrieval of drawings and work instructions, as well as other job activities
  • Dexterity, eye - hand coordination for assembly using a variety of tools and or equipment according to specifications/process
  • Use Loctite, epoxy, and other compounds as required by the assembly process steps
  • Handle of ESD sensitive material and equipment
  • Willing to be cross-trained and perform other related duties as required
  • Demonstrate a keen awareness of safety practices and familiarity with OSHA standards
  • Ensure work areas are kept neat, clean, and organized per company guideline
  • Must maintain a very good attendance record
