If that sounds like you, you can win at Wilsonart. Rewinder Operator Wilsonart, Temple, Texas has an immediate opening for a Rewinder Operator. This individual operates the mechanical rewinder to produce quality rolls and visual quality according to Product Quality Department specifications. Performs other tasks as needed. This is for overnight reporting in at 9:00 pm - 7:00 am.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of safety standards applicable to Phenolic Department and other pertinent rules / regulations governing work standards.
  • Knowledge of hazardous materials and safe handling.
  • Knowledge of the operating functions of the rewinder machinery.
  • One year of work experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Operate the phenolic treated material rewinder safely
  • Monitor and maintain visual quality according to Product Quality Departments standards
  • Insure that the material is rewound properly.
  • Make any necessary adjustments to machine for proper operation and notify checker of any malfunctions
  • Remove completed rolls and stage in staging area
  • Record all needed information on log
  • Perform Oracle functions on computer for backup to wet end operator.
