The Label Rewind Operator will play a crucial role in our production process, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. A Label Rewind Operator is responsible for processing large rolls of material into smaller, finished rolls. They also operate various packaging and cutting equipment to cut down paper and package using an L-Sealer. If you are a motivated individual with a passion for excellence, we want to hear from you!! Operates standing or sedentary rewind equipment to cut, package and prepare finished labels for shipment according to customer specifications.
Meets expected production output while working safely and following all procedures and policies.
Completes required quality and production logs using basic math.
Uses two hands to set up rolls and empty spools for rewinding application.
May use a foot pedal to operate some pieces of rewind equipment.
Work with other shifts to keep the area clean and safe.
Follows all Lean practices and performs as an active member of the team.
Uses ruler skills and attention to detail to maintain quality control inspections of product.

Demonstrate organizational and attention to detail skills.
Display strong communication skills; ability to read, write and speak English.
Possess basic math and computer operation skills.
Able to stand for long periods of time, bend, twist and lift/carry up to 20 pounds.
Be dependable and work the agreed upon schedule along with reliable transportation.

Prior Manufacturing experience in a similar environment is not required but helpful.
Prior machine operator experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
Press or label manufacturing experience preferred.
Desire working knowledge of Lean Principles and/or Quick Response Manufacturing (QRM).
