Rewind Inspector/Packer 2nd Shift - Entry Level
About The Position
Responsibilities Set up and operate a rewind inspection machine equipped with a video inspection system. Configure rewind inspection machine to slit label rolls to the specified width and length according to job requirements. Perform quality inspections of labels while utilizing the video inspection system. Ensure consistent roll construction throughout the order duration. Replace any defective labels with good labels. Pack finished rolls and record completed quantities and time spent in the tracking systems. Clean, inspect, and lubricate moving parts as necessary. 2nd Shift Hours: Monday - Thursday 3:10pm – 1:40am
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Mechanical aptitude required.
- Basic computer proficiency required.
- Ability to read and follow instructions from standard operating procedures, work instructions, and job specifications.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand with occasional walking, and capable of lifting and/or moving up to 60 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the printing industry is a plus.
