Come help us bring modern software to modern science. ROLE OVERVIEW Own Benchling's GTM tech stack end-to-end. Set the strategy, govern the tools, and run execution. You will be the business owner for Salesforce and the wider revenue app ecosystem (Gong, SalesLoft, Clay, Champify, etc.) , driving process design, data quality, integrations, and change management. You'll serve as the connective tissue across RevOps, BizTech, Deal Desk, Marketing Ops, Finance, Security, and vendors to deliver a clean, scalable, compliant GTM engine. Help bring Benchling's already proven GTM tech stack to the next level.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in RevOps/GTM Systems or Business Systems, including 3+ years owning Salesforce for a B2B SaaS sales org.
  • Proven roadmap ownership from strategy → requirements → build → launch → adoption at $50M-$500M+ ARR scale.
  • Deep hands-on with: Salesforce (objects, validation), forecasting, territory/routing (e.g., LeanData), enrichment (Clay, LeadIQ), sales engagement (Outreach/Salesloft), CLM/CPQ, , analytics (Snowflake + BI), middleware (Workato/Tray/MuleSoft).
  • Strong quote-to-cash and SKU discipline; understands approvals, pricing, billing handoffs, and marketplace motions.
  • Integration and data chops: schemas, IDs, sync cadence, error handling, and data quality frameworks.
  • Excellent program management: backlog triage, RAID logs, vendor management, and crisp status comms.
  • Governance mindset: intake, prioritization, change control, documentation, and enablement.
  • Ability to translate GTM strategy into systems design with measurable business outcomes.
  • Clear communicator across execs, admins, and end users. Low-ego, high-ownership operator.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in life sciences or other complex enterprise sales.
  • Admin certifications (Salesforce Admin/Advanced Admin, Marketo, Workato).

Responsibilities

  • GTM Tech Stack Strategy & Ownership
  • Set strategy: Define the 12-24 month GTM tooling vision, architecture, and roadmap tied to pipeline, conversion, NDR, and efficiency goals.
  • Own the stack: Serve as business admin for core systems (Salesforce + CPQ/CLM, MAP, sales engagement, routing, enrichment, forecast, conversation intelligence, ABM, PLG, marketplace).
  • Program manage: Lead new tool evaluations, vendor selection, contracting, and implementations. Drive timeline, budget, and adoption.
  • Integrations & data: Partner with BizTech on integration patterns (Snowflake, ETL, middleware). Enforce data standards, dedupe, routing, and SLAs.
  • Governance: Run intake, prioritization, and change control. Publish roadmap and release notes.
  • Security & compliance: Coordinate audits, permissions, SOX-relevant controls, and least-privilege roles.
  • Enablement: Create admin docs, field guides, and training. Measure adoption and retire unused tech.
  • Measurement: Define success metrics for every tool and release. Instrument dashboards for uptime, usage, data quality, and business impact.
  • Cost discipline: Maintain the vendor catalog, renewals, and ROI. Consolidate tooling where sensible.
  • GTM Tool Administration
  • Field Support: Provide non-technical support to field teams for process-related inquiries and issues regarding the GTM tech stack.
  • Tool Administration: Administer various GTM tools, including: Sigma, Gong, People.ai, SalesLoft, and other pipeline generation tools.
  • Documentation: Create and disseminate GTM tooling process documentation, release notes, and communications to the field regarding tooling changes and enhancements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Process design: Translate business requirements into scalable process and metadata models. Write BRDs, own UAT, and ship.
  • X-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with the Business Technology team to plan and prioritize the GTM systems enchantment and requests.
  • Deal Desk partnership: Ensure quote-to-cash accuracy across CPQ, pricing, approvals, SKU hygiene, and downstream finance.
  • GTM Advocacy: Advocate for the needs and priorities of Marketing, Sales, and CX Operations in discussions with Business Technology, and Data Analytics & Science, facilitating alignment on goals and strategies
