About The Position

Tesla’s Industrial Engineering team is seeking a Revit support expert to drive the development of factory layouts and material flow designs for current and future Gigafactories. In this role, you will empower engineers to deliver innovative, scalable factory designs by optimizing Revit workflows, automating data processes, training on and supporting Autodesk products, and building custom Revit families. Your expertise will directly impact the efficiency and feasibility of Tesla’s manufacturing expansion. Train teams in Revit best practices and Tesla’s BIM standards

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Design, or related experience
• 2+ years of Revit experience in manufacturing or industrial layouts
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Dynamo, Navisworks, Revizito, and Bluebeam
• Experience with parametric Revit family design and BIM standards
• Ability to automate workflows (data exports, family updates)
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical collaboration

Responsibilities

• Develop Revit families, templates, and scripts to streamline design processes
• Automate data exports from Revit for integration with analysis tools
• Troubleshoot Revit, AutoCAD, and Autodesk software issues
• Partner with VDC teams to establish and maintain Revit/CAD base files for new factories
• Create 3D visualizations
• Setup, maintain, and work on BIM360/ACC projects
