About The Position

As a Reverse Logistics Associate at ACR Supply Company, you are the backbone of our returns process, ensuring that defective, unused, or unwanted products are processed efficiently and accurately and returned to the vendor for credit or replacement. You work closely with ACR stores, Procurement, Finance, and vendors to minimize company costs and maximize the timely return of credits. It is expected that the Reverse Logistics Associate will work a minimum of 40 hours per week in accordance to the standard department hours of 7:30am – 4:30pm, Monday – Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years HVAC, Reverse Logistics and/or warehouse experience
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and relationship-building skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a knack for problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and use new technology
  • Excellent organizing, planning, and prioritization skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong mathematical ability and numerical reasoning
  • Strong active listening and social perceptiveness
  • Meet physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The team member frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The team member is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The team member must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Supply Chain, Logistics or the equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)
  • 2 years project management experience (preferred)
  • Knowledge of end to end HVAC product lifecycle (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Receive inbound warranty transfers into Warranty Department. Confirm validity of returnable items and completeness of paperwork.
  • Stage, store, and organize returnable items in warranty area.
  • Process returns, data entry, paperwork, and product return shipments.
  • Receive replacement products and process related data entry, paperwork, and restock into DC warehouse (if no credit is issued). Contact vendors for warranty credits not received within established timeframes.
  • Return unused/unwanted product to vendor and negotiate rebalance terms. Accurately track and maintain paperwork to ensure credit is received. Maintain accurate records of returned stock to prevent supply chain disruptions.
  • Re-call processing
  • Collaborate with ACR Supply stores, the Procurement team, the Finance team, and vendors to resolve return-related issues, minimizing delays for HVAC repairs
  • Assist with vendor management and purchasing as assigned
