About The Position

In this role, you will perform advanced reverse engineering of hardware components, software applications, and operating systems to determine functionality, code structure, and circuit design in support of developing Computer Network Operations (CNO) tools and techniques. You will analyze complex systems, uncover vulnerabilities, and contribute to the design and development of innovative cyber capabilities. You will document and deliver detailed technical reports, proof-of-concept code, prototypes, and hands-on demonstrations of reverse engineering results. Additionally, you will author and present technical briefings, collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineers, developers, and analysts to translate findings into actionable solutions. Staying current with evolving technologies, reverse engineering methodologies, and cyber threats will be essential to success in this role.

Requirements

Strong experience in hardware and/or software reverse engineering
Proficiency in programming languages such as Assembly, C, C#, C++, Java, Perl, or Python
Experience administering and utilizing hardware and software reverse engineering tools
Familiarity with CNO tools and techniques
Experience with software version control systems (e.g., Subversion, CVS)
Ability to create, document, and present technical findings clearly to varied audiences
Experience producing reports, prototypes, and demonstrations of technical work
Knowledge of computer forensics methodologies
Strong experience with kernel-level programming
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
8+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree
6+ years with a Master’s degree
12+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
At least 5 years of experience in hardware or software reverse engineering
TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
