About The Position

The Revenue Utilization Review (RUR) nurse clinical trainer is organizationally aligned within Office of Finance, Revenue Operations (RO), Quality & Performance (Q&P); and is responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise for the sustainment of the CPAC's Revenue Utilization Review functional area through continuous improvement and learning. The Nurse III RUR Clinical Nurse Trainer is responsible for providing expert, evidence-based education to RUR staff. The RUR Clinical Nurse Trainer understands instructional design, implementation, and application related to education and training. Performs learning needs assessments, develops educational trainings for RUR staff within CPAC. The RUR clinical nurse trainer demonstrates performance and leadership that is broad enough to assist the CPAC in program direction through the development and delivery of comprehensive training curriculum for experienced RUR staff. The RUR clinical nurse trainer is responsible for the documented outcomes at the program, service and national level. Reviews current nursing literature for new trends and changes based on evidence-based research with the ability to propose practice and documentation revisions based on evaluation of outcomes. Collaborates with leadership to identify educational training needs for staff, while supporting activities that foster competence, critical thinking, and decision making. Provides consultation and collaboration through the participation within organizational committees. Ability to analyze, interpret, and evaluate data to determine outcomes and changes related to educational programs.

Requirements

  • Licensure: 1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory

Responsibilities
