About The Position

CR&R Incorporated is hiring a Revenue Recovery Specialist to support delinquent account recovery through property ownership research, parcel (APN) validation, and tax roll preparation. This is a data-driven role, not phone collections. This position works with property records, county assessor data, and internal billing systems to ensure accurate ownership and prepare accounts for submission to county tax rolls. WAGES: Starting from $25/hr

Requirements

2+ years in one of the following: Property records / assessor office Title or escrow Utility billing / municipal services Property tax or special assessments Data reconciliation / records analysis
Strong Excel skills (lookups, filtering, data cleanup)
Experience working with APNs, parcel data, or property ownership records
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work across multiple systems and datasets

Nice To Haves

Experience with county assessor systems or tax roll processes
Background in waste, utilities, or municipal services
Familiarity with GIS or parcel mapping tools

Responsibilities

Research and verify Assessor Parcel Numbers (APNs), ownership, and service addresses
Reconcile internal billing records with county assessor and property records
Identify accounts eligible for tax roll placement / special assessments
Clean, validate, and prepare datasets for county submission
Investigate ownership discrepancies and resolve data mismatches
Maintain documentation and audit trails for compliance
Partner with billing, finance, and operations teams to resolve issues
