About The Position

The purpose of the Revenue Operations Analyst role is to provide actionable overall market and customer insights to address key strategic questions on the effectiveness of current marketing and sales efforts. This is enabled through the tracking of key performance metrics with corresponding report generation, and by providing connecting all the dots from Marketing to Sales to Revenue data. The role involves collaborating with marketing, sales, finance and product teams to identify opportunities for growth and improve sales and marketing ROI. This will encompass tracking, reporting, and analyzing the performance of marketing activities, ad-hoc analytic requests, and development/automation of regular reports of the KPIs. These sales funnel reports will aggregate all channel marketing and sales efforts, combined with RevSpace reports of Account Based relationship Marketing (ABrM). In addition to driving the creation of these reports, the actionable insights this role will provide will drive changes to marketing/sales efforts based on the data. This role will also support events and micro-events by analyzing past and current attendees to establish targets that will be invited to on-site events by sales and via marketing efforts to deepen relationships. The ROI of these events and the effectiveness of them will also be a key responsibility of this role. Additionally, this role will provide support as needed for market data analysis for thought leadership white-paper development and other assets where the insights from primary source or third-party data is an essential part of the process.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree minimum, MBA a plus
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in data analytics. Commercial banking background is a plus.
  • Can develop custom reports and dashboarding to answer pertinent questions.
  • Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis. Excellent analytical skills and a high degree of business acumen Experience in advanced analytic and statistical techniques related multivariate and A/B testing, digital revenue attribution, customer segmentation, and marketing effectiveness. Experience building and automating management level reporting
  • Strong organizational, communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability in handling concurrent projects with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Team player with experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Results focused with a proven track record of success, as you will be required to deliver results immediately.
  • Fast learner, who applies creative and unconventional solutions to new and complex problems.
  • Ability to plan/manage and experienced in rolling up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary.
  • Completion of One Hour SAFe Overview required for foundational understanding of Agile principles or must be completed with 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret sales and marketing data from multiple sources to support strategic decision-making and the creation of thought leadership material
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to forecast new sales and also communicate insights to marketing, sales, and executive teams
  • Monitor campaign performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate effectiveness and ROI
  • Calculate, validate, and process sales commissions in accordance with compensation plans and policies.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities in customer behavior, market conditions, and competitor activity
  • Recognize targets and patterns from previous event attendees to create target lists of potential attendees at the events with adequate lead time to have an advantage of getting an earlier commitment from the target
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to design experiments, A/B tests, and predictive models for campaign optimization
  • Maintain accurate databases and ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance with privacy regulations
  • Provide actionable recommendations based on data insights to improve targeting, messaging, and overall marketing strategy
  • Assist in marketing budget analysis, forecasting, and performance tracking
  • Manage key sales and marketing systems like Hubspot, Salesforce, Zoominfo etc.
