About The Position

The Revenue Management Assistant at Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort & Spa plays a crucial role in managing room inventory to maximize revenue. This position involves maintaining accurate information in the reservation system, preparing competitive analyses, managing room authorizations and rates, and performing month-end reporting and auditing. The assistant will also support the training of new associates and assist in implementing hotel sales strategies.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • At least 1-year related work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing rooms inventory to maximize revenue.
  • Maintain accuracy of information in the reservation system.
  • Prepare competitive analysis and supporting documents for market sales strategy meetings.
  • Manage room authorizations, rates, and restrictions, communicating strategies to properties.
  • Perform month-end reporting and auditing for Revenue Management.
  • Generate, process, and update property and market Revenue Management reports.
  • Assist with system maintenance, including inputting rate hurdles and monitoring forecasted demand.
  • Train new associates on revenue management tools.
  • Implement hotel sales strategies in reservation and inventory systems.
  • Follow company policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
