The Revenue Integrity Lead is responsible for cultivating strong partnerships with team members and leaders both within the department and across all departments that we service at the facilities. Assists is creating and maintaining workflow efficiencies in the department. Tracks and reviews error trends to be used in training and development. Manages team projects as assigned to keep on track and meet deadlines. The Lead is also responsible for training of associates on specific processes and procedures, to include individual and group training when necessary. Responsible for associate Kronos/timekeeping and attendance tracking. Mentors and trains associates on an on-going basis. Provides expertise to resolve, research, track data flows, errors and oversee project development within the department. Actively seeks opportunities to improve the overall process flow. Participates in the development and delivery of training protocols, competency assessments, educating and verifying adherence to department policies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/G.E.D. Required
  • 5 years experience working with databases, spreadsheets and reporting.
  • 5 years experience in an acute care or physician office charge capture/audit setting preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of HCPC/CPT-4 and compliance related to these codes.
  • Proven excellent organizational, communication and problem solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor Degree Preferred Degree in Business/Finance, IT or Accounting is desirable or other related certification and or appropriate experience may be substituted.
  • Certified Coding Associate: Preferred
  • Any Revenue Integrity/Revenue Management/Coding/Audit certification(s) a plus
