Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to problem solve and have strong attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Medical and or Coding background (apprentice and or externships accepted or individuals seeking RHIA, RHIT, CPC-A, CPC, CCS, CCS-P

Responsibilities

Writing articles and taking photos for hospital physician, employee and consumer publications
Writing and distributing press releases
Designing fliers, postcards, invitations, etc. for hospital events and programs
Planning and implementing special events (community seminars, races/walks, etc.)
Assisting media on campus & coordinating media logistics
Working with printers and other vendors
Assisting with a variety of projects in Productivity Management, Finance or Administration
Assist with projects related to Physician Practices or Hospital Departments.
Take responsibility for organization of data sources.
Research, write, edit and distribute department newsletter.
Coordinate with other departments or other vendors to complete various projects.
Juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Work with various people around the hospital on different projects.
Assist Revenue Integrity department in various functions related to chargemaster, revenue cycle, charge capture as well as perform various coding functions some of which may include initial audit and or applicable data collection.
