About The Position
This position is a remote/local role that requires the candidate to be located within 60 miles of Placerville, CA. The individual will work independently to perform program, compliance, and risk-based reviews of healthcare-related activities. The primary focus will be on ensuring the accuracy of medical record documentation, proper charge capture, ICD10 and CPT assignment, and billing in accordance with established policies and reimbursement principles. The role involves providing written audit summaries of findings, including recommendations, and conducting revenue cycle investigations to identify and mitigate risks. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for coordinating, developing, and conducting educational training based on audit outcomes, and assisting Corporate Compliance in maintaining the hospital's Corporate Compliance Program.
