About This Role: We’re looking for an Events Revenue Development Representative who can use their curiosity and perseverance to help fuel our sponsorship sales ambitions. As part of the Sponsorship Sales team, you’ll collaborate with Event and Research sales to discover opportunities within assigned territories and pursue both inbound and outbound leads. You’ll work within a tightly defined sales process to ensure a consistent, unified approach to selling our Events portfolio and driving customer satisfaction and loyalty. Requirements

  • A BS or BA degree or an equivalent experience.
  • Experience with direct sales in client management or consultative selling.
  • Effective organization and time management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve weekly meeting setting metrics.
  • Follow up on leads generated by the marketing team in SFDC (including MQL/SQL/IQL’s)
  • Support Sponsorship Sales Reps in selling new relationships to C-level leaders and their teams, including CMOs, VP of Marketing & Demand Gen, Field Marketing, Event Marketing, AR and Sales leaders.
  • Understand the objectives and services of a targeted set of accounts and their specific management titles and organizational structures.
  • Perform name and organizational development at named accounts to identify buying groups.
  • Engage with prospects via phone, email, and social media to outline Forrester’s unique value proposition in line with our defined cadences.
  • Spark interest from qualified potential buyers to secure an introductory meeting with a Forrester events sales rep.
  • Maintain and build relationships with prospects to understand their business issues and demonstrate how Forrester can bring value and solve their problems.
  • Understand the changing business and technology issues that our clients and prospects face.
