About The Position

The Revenue Cycle Work Queue Specialist expertly performs the duty of working the Claim Edit and Charge Review work queues while collaborating with Mission Partners in the Revenue Cycle, IT, hospital and provider locations. Area of focus may include review of either hospital or ambulatory billing.

Requirements

• High School/GED
• 1 year experience in inpatient, outpatient or physician office setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

Nice To Haves

• 3 years' experience in inpatient, outpatient or physician office setting.
• Experience utilizing electronic medical records (EMR), especially Epic applications.
• Working Knowledge of CPT- 4, ICD-10, HCPCS codes and modifiers.
• Candidates with Epic experience, coding/billing and/or registration experience, and/or OSFMG office experience, and/or Epic Work Queue experience are encouraged to apply.
