About The Position

The Revenue Cycle Trainer is responsible for providing training support for all aspects of Revenue Cycle workflow. The position coordinates efforts of Revenue Cycle training related to system implementations with ISD staff, system users, management, and vendors. The Trainer uses proven methodologies to create system training, including needs analysis, design development, implementation and evaluation. The Revenue Cycle Trainer coordinates efforts and participates in testing of system related enhancements and other related Revenue Cycle workflow changes/implementations as necessary. The Revenue Cycle Trainer conducts research and fact finding in an effort to diagnose root causes of revenue cycle related issues, so as to recommend a favorable problem resolution. The Revenue Cycle Trainer will be responsible to facilitate training courses, either one-on-one or in a group setting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or 3 years of experience in a professional position in HealthCare Revenue in lieu of a degree
  • Education or experience with development of training materials and training methods
  • Education or experience conducting needs analysis
  • Education or experience with group training

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree
  • Education or experience in analysis and problem solving, product evaluation, process improvement and effective process flow
  • Technical Writing Skills and Experience Preferred; Experience with online training authoring tools (such as Captivate, Lectora) & Learning Management Systems
  • Previous experience with Revenue Cycle in a hospital setting is preferred
