Requirements

  • 2 + years o f acc o un ts rece i v a b l e ex p er i e n ce i n H o m e Hea l t h , Home Care , a nd H o s p i ce li n es o f bu s i n ess .
  • Ex p er i e n ce ass i st i n g , tra i n i n g, a nd s upp o rt i n g bu s i n ess o ff i ce managers at m u l t i p l e s i tes is a plus .
  • Ex p er i e n ce i n t h e f o ll o w i n g platforms preferred : H o m ecare H o m e b ase , QuickBooks , a nd W a y star.

Nice To Haves

  • Ex p er i e n ce i n t h e f o ll o w i n g p l at f o r m s is a plus : Wellsky (ClearCare), EZ Claim, HomeTrack , CareVoyant , and/or Axis Care.

Responsibilities

  • Support the accounts receivable functions under the supervision of the RC Systems Resource Lead.
  • Enhance the agencies’ policies and procedures surrounding the revenue and accounts receivable cycles .
  • Assist agencies in the development and use of accounting policies and procedures, and establish rapport in and between departments so that each can realize the importance of accurate reporting procedures .
  • Monitor internal controls to ensure compliance with established procedures related to revenue and accounts receivable .
  • Partner with RC Portfolio Resources to monitor accounts receivable and develop action plans .
  • Provide e xpert knowledge on software systems used in home health, hospice, and home care lines of business.
  • Ability to train staff in software systems and processes .
  • Develop and utilize software reports for AR metrics and trends.
  • Monitor the workflow process within the system and alert appropriate organizational Resources .
  • Manage time equally between service center projects and field support .
  • Utilizes ticketing software by routing and troubleshooting claims and EMR issues .
  • M anage payor builds and updates for acquisitions, branch expansions , s tartups , and new contracts .
  • Assist in m aintain ing payor portals and access to clearinghouses .
  • Atte nd and participate in workshops, seminars, etc., to keep abreast of current changes in the home health , home care, and hospice field s , as well as to maintain a professional status.
  • Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment.
  • Ma intain and demonstrate company culture and values .
