About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Sr. Manager, Revenue Cycle Management, the Specialist, Revenue Cycle is responsible for duties as assigned such as: charge entry, payment posting, A/R follow-up, and denials management in accordance with the center’s policies and procedures. In addition, the Specialist, Revenue Cycle is responsible for maintaining the daily deposit log, accounts receivables aging report, and other reports as directed by the Sr. Manager, Revenue Cycle, or surgery center Business Office Manager. Hybrid Position - 2 days a week in the Chicagoland office.

Requirements

High school diploma or general equivalency degree (GED)
Two (2) years’ experience in billing/collecting in a healthcare setting
Knowledge of heath care operations
Proficient computer skills

Responsibilities

Provide regular communication and feedback to Manager

Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner including payment posting, daily deposit log, charge entry, etc.
