About The Position

The Revenue Cycle Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing complex revenue cycle projects, with a primary focus on Epic system implementations and optimizations. This role ensures successful delivery of projects that enhance operational efficiency, compliance, and financial performance across the healthcare organization. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, clinical, and revenue cycle stakeholders, to align project objectives with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycle for Epic revenue cycle modules (e.g., Resolute Professional Billing, Hospital Billing, Claims, and related workflows).
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
  • Ensure adherence to scope, budget, and quality standards.
  • Oversee the use of Epic Gallery for project deliverables, templates, and best practices.
  • Ensure proper governance and version control of Epic content within the Gallery.
  • Collaborate with analysts and application teams to leverage Gallery resources for streamlined build and deployment.
  • Maintain compliance with Epic’s standards for content sharing and updates.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between revenue cycle leadership, IT teams, and Epic analysts.
  • Facilitate communication and decision-making across departments to resolve issues and mitigate risks.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize revenue cycle workflows through Epic functionality.
  • Drive adoption of best practices and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Proactively monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Escalate critical issues to leadership and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries for leadership.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
