MAIN FUNCTION: Oversees the daily activity of the billing and coding team and monitors the accounts receivables while holding daily huddles for team to plan. Reviews diagnosis and procedure codes for office, outpatient and procedures to insure accurate reimbursement in compliance with local, state and federal regulations using ICD-10-CM, CPT-4 and HCPCS.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • CPC Certification required
  • Five or more years' experience in physician coding and healthcare billing industry required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors preferred
  • CRC & CPMA Certification preferred
