Job Overview The Revenue Cycle Management Specialist II plays a critical role in supporting and optimizing all aspects of the Revenue Cycle through advanced analytical expertise, accounts receivable management, and strategic problem-solving. This role takes ownership of monitoring and improving billing and collections performance by analyzing complex KPIs (denials rate, collection rate, days in A/R, etc.) and leading initiatives to enhance revenue capture and operational efficiency. The Specialist II provides advanced functional support, including payment posting, system configuration, cross-departmental project coordination, and mentoring of junior staff, as well as other ad-hoc support related to the Revenue Cycle.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent required; trade or Technical School certification preferred; an associate's degree or higher is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of billing, collection, and revenue cycle experience in healthcare required.
  • Proven experience with EPIC and Practice Management system configuration.
  • Advanced proficiency in data analytics, including Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
  • Experience leading or coordinating revenue cycle projects or process improvement initiatives.
