About The Position

OI Infusion is seeking a Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Manager to oversee setup functions and billing operations. This leader will manage a team of billers and a setup specialist, ensuring clean claims, accurate EMR maintenance, and seamless site implementations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-driven, and passionate about reducing denials while driving revenue optimization.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of management experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations.
  • Strong knowledge of billing, coding (CPT, ICD-10), and claim submission processes.
  • Experience with setting up and maintaining EMR/practice management systems (AdvancedMD preferred).
  • Familiarity with EDI, ERA, EFT agreements, and clearinghouse platforms (e.g. Change Healthcare).
  • Proven ability to lead remote teams and manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - advanced knowledge of excel a must.

  • Experience with new site implementations.
  • Provider portal setup and administration.
  • Background in infusion billing.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee coding audits, including adjustment codes, NDCs, rates, and diagnosis codes.
  • Manage quarterly rate updates and EMR system maintenance.
  • Execute new site and provider setup, ensuring accurate configuration of charge codes, modifiers, and payors.
  • Lead EDI, ERA, and EFT enrollments and troubleshoot issues.
  • Ensure smooth integration of new sites and TINs into the practice management system.
  • Administer provider portals and maintain secure access.
  • Identify underutilized tools to improve efficiency.
  • Create SOPs and provide training for new team members.
  • Develop and enforce billing/coding practices to reduce denials and rejections.
  • Supervise billing team, manage workflow, and set performance expectations.
  • Monitor KPIs (billing holds, productivity, QA, rebilling).
  • Resolve escalated claims issues with clearinghouse and payors.
  • Lead implementation of AI-driven billing tools to improve efficiency.
  • Conduct regular audits and update SOPs to ensure compliance.
  • Lead a remote team of 3–5 direct reports.
  • Conduct 1:1 meetings, performance reviews, and coaching.
  • Oversee scheduling, timecards, and PTO approvals.
  • Support team growth through hiring, training, and development.
