About The Position

Administers the Clinical Data Quality's provider online/electronic learning initiatives pertaining to medical record documentation, coding, reimbursement, and billing compliance.

Requirements

• Up to 1 year: Supervisory experience.
• Preferred Experience - 1: 5 years: Medical billing/claims experience including coding, medical terminology, and third-party reimbursement.
• Required Experience - 2: Experience in adult training environment.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a subject matter expert for the organization in coding-related matters, non-physician practitioner and teaching physician billing compliance, E-Learning authoring software, and learning management system administration.
• Assists in formulating department policies that determine department E-Learning processes.
• Coordinates and balances the E-Learning educational efforts and activities of the department to ensure maximum efficiency in meeting the organization's educational needs.
• Provides training on E-Learning software use and learning management system administration to other members of the CDQ Department.
• Oversees the development of, and approves all E-Learning content associated with, the aforementioned educational/training programs.
• Determines provider training objectives to be accomplished via online education and is responsible for the initial plan and design of online provider educational material, as well as enhancing existing courses.
• Ensures that training is updated as soon as possible to account for industry changes.
• Ensures that coding and billing communications are distributed as issues and trends are identified.
