About The Position

Bartz-Altadonna Community Health Center is seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Revenue Cycle Manager to lead our billing and coding operations. This role is critical to ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant claim submissions in line with best practices for Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs).

Requirements

5+ years of billing/coding experience; 2+ years in a supervisory role
CPC or equivalent certification required
Strong knowledge of FQHC billing, Medi-Cal PPS, and EMR systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks or Epic)
Must be results-driven, deadline-focused, and committed to compliance

Responsibilities

Oversee billing, coding, charge capture, claims submission, payment posting, and denial resolution.
Work side-by-side with billing staff to maintain productivity goals of 75-100 claims submitted per biller per day.
Train and mentor staff on FQHC billing practices, compliance, and payer requirements.
Monitor performance, enforce accountability, and drive process improvements.
Collaborate across departments to ensure clean claims and reduce denials.
Implement and maintain policies aligned with Medi-Cal, Medicare, commercial, and 340B requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Billing Director, Director of Finance & Compliance/CFO, or Executive Team.
