About The Position

The Revenue Cycle Analyst is responsible for patient accounts from discharge to final disposition of the account. Completes collection calls to both the third party carrier and the guarantor for each account on the daily work list in MS4, documenting the accounts and assigning an appropriate message code. Requirements

• High School Diploma/Equivalent
• Previous collection of third party and self-pay accounts preferred
• Three years of experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Collection calls to both the third party carrier and the guarantor for each account on the daily work list
• Reviews credit balances and prepares an accurate and documented refund request for review by the Business Office Director
• Assists with billing and collection work lists for other staff when they are absent; performs other duties as assigned
• Follows up on billed accounts in 30 days to ensure bills were received and accurate
• Post cash for self-pay calls
• Verifies benefits
