This position reports directly to the Revenue Cycle Manager.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience in an administrative role preferred.
  • Detail oriented, problem solver/analytical, flexible and self-motivated
  • Proficiency with Microsoft (Outlook, Office Word, and Excel)
  • Organized, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Works well independently and in a team setting
  • Ability to type 45+ words per minute
  • Talk, hear, and communicate with people over the telephone
  • Use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone
  • View computer screens for extended periods of time
  • Sit at a desk for extended periods of time
  • Regular, predictable attendance.

Responsibilities

  • Sort and distribute mail forwarded to the Revenue Cycle Team.
  • Review returned patient statements and correcting/adjusting accounts.
  • Pull EOB’s and/or medical records from systems for auditing purposes.
  • Scanning of documents to Shared Portal.
  • Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail, email, faxes and voicemails.
  • Printing claims and pulling documentation to be mailed to insurances.
  • Other tasks as assigned
