The Revenue Auditor position at Victory Casino Cruises is a part-time role based in Port Canaveral, Florida. The primary responsibility of a Revenue Auditor is to meticulously examine the income generated by the company to ensure its accuracy and compliance with established standards. This involves utilizing various analytical tools, including graphs and charts, to assess the efficiency of revenue-generating activities and to recommend strategies for enhancing the company's profitability. The role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of financial data analysis. In this position, the Revenue Auditor will gather and reconcile financial and statistical information from all revenue departments, employing various accounting systems and reports. Daily tasks include auditing revenues and other financial data to ensure accuracy and efficiency, as well as reviewing source documents from different gaming areas to verify compliance with internal control standards and company policies. The auditor will also be responsible for entering daily revenue information into the general ledger and performing audits in accordance with established policies and procedures, documenting the results thoroughly. Collaboration with the Revenue Compliance Manager and Lead Revenue Auditor is essential, as the auditor will prepare requested financial or statistical analysis reports. Additionally, the role involves producing both audited and unaudited reports for each department and ensuring the proper filing and storage of all audit-related paperwork. Training staff and ensuring compliance with minimum internal control standards and company policies is also a critical aspect of this position. The company maintains a strict No Visible Tattoo Policy, and candidates must be cleared of all visible tattoos to be considered for this role.
