About The Position

The Revenue Analyst at NorthBay Healthcare is responsible for producing and analyzing accurate and timely revenue reports and analytics related to Accounts Receivable (AR) and net revenue for various divisions and general ledger accounts. This role operates under minimal supervision and plays a crucial part in ensuring the financial health of the organization by providing insights that support decision-making and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience (minimum of 8 years as an Accountant or Financial Analyst).
• 5 or more years of hospital accounting experience, particularly in AR and revenue recognition.
• Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Windows.
• Experience with Oracle ERP systems and other relevant software (e.g., Epic, Syntellis).
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work under tight time constraints.

Nice To Haves

• CPA certification preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to apply generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce and analyze revenue reports and analytics for assigned NorthBay Healthcare companies and divisions.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting related to Accounts Receivable and net revenue.
• Recommend viable solutions to complex accounting and operational problems.
• Initiate procedural changes in response to changes in the external environment.
• Assess the reasonableness of results from own work and that of subordinates.
