The Direct-to-Consumer segment has an exciting opportunity for an Intern Accountant in San Francisco. This role will work collaboratively across all business units to ensure proper accounting of programming amortization and revenue recognition of Paramount Global digital advertising and subscription streams. We are looking for a detail oriented individual who takes initiative, has pride in their work, thrives in a high-tech friendly environment and who is driven, enthusiastic, thoughtful, collaborative and proactive in their approach. The Summer Intern will provide support to the DTC Accounting team by assisting with entry-level daily operations, month-end procedures, and post-Oracle Fusion validation tasks.

Requirements

Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail
Has exceptional organizational and time management skills
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Exposure to financial/accounting systems (Oracle, SAP, Netsuite, etc) and Google Drive, Microsoft Suite applications
Internships are available to students who will be Seniors or Master’s students in the fall of 2026. If you are a graduating Senior, please check our website for full-time job opportunities.
You must be available to intern full-time (5 days a week/36-40 hours a week) for 10 weeks total starting in June.
Interns will be required to work fully on-site for the duration of the program. Note: Paramount does not provide financial relocation support or housing stipends.
Internships are paid at a competitive standard hourly rate (school credit is optional).
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
Employment eligibility to work with Paramount in the United States is required as the company does not engage in sponsorship for internships.

Responsibilities

This position will contribute to the documentation of new process workflows related to Fusion digital media revenue streams and may support Operative order approval.
The intern will offer feedback regarding enhancements and improvements for the Jiffy BOT approval workflow and assist in coding accounting transactions utilizing the updated chart of account structure.
The intern will gather supporting documentation for journal entries, assisting with credit card reconciliations, and monitoring digital affiliate reporting to ensure accurate ancillary revenue recognition
