About The Position

REVELXP is a premier sports hospitality company that works with hundreds of college and professional teams and major sporting events to deliver exceptional fan experiences. We are seeking an experienced and visionary Vice President of Customer Data and Strategy to lead strategic initiatives and drive the overall direction of our brand, customer data, and digital experience teams. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the development and execution of strategies that enhance our market positioning, optimize customer relationships, and elevate our digital presence. You will collaborate closely with divisional leaders to ensure alignment and effectiveness across all functions, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in strategy development, brand management, or marketing leadership roles, with a strong emphasis on overseeing cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of driving successful brand strategies and managing customer relationship management (CRM) initiatives.
  • Proven experience with technology stacks, including ERP, CRM, and marketing platforms, demonstrating the ability to leverage tools to drive operational efficiency, sales and enhance customer engagement.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with digital marketing, ecommerce, and user experience (UI/UX) principles.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Familiarity with content strategy, SEO, and inbound marketing best practices.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and guide market, competitor, and consumer research efforts to inform business decisions, particularly in brand, sales, and marketing strategies.
  • Identify and recommend best practices and processes for cross-functional sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Lead special projects and analyses for the CEO, such as product and pricing optimization, providing strategic direction and insights.
  • Supervise the development of key dashboards to support informed business decisions.
  • Lead the overall customer data strategy, providing strategic collaboration with divisions to align with organizational objectives.
  • Guide customer data analysis to generate insights that drive sales, marketing, and product/package strategies.
  • Oversee segmentation strategies that enable targeted marketing and sales initiatives.
  • Collaborate with divisional leadership to refine lead funnel strategies and optimize lead capture methods, ensuring effective integration with the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with IT to develop and implement automated workflows across systems for increased efficiency and sales facilitation.
  • Direct the strategy for the corporate CRM system, ensuring alignment with divisional needs and adherence to consistent processes.
  • Lead email marketing communications strategies and plans to foster engagement and sales with customers.
  • Oversee cross-functional alignment between sales and marketing to ensure a seamless customer experience throughout the buying journey.
  • Supervise the REVELXP website and digital user experience (UI & UX), including the ecommerce merchandising strategy and customer buying flow.
  • Oversee and facilitate collaboration between technology, e-commerce, customer data and brand teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Maintain oversight of marketing and ecommerce systems.
  • Supervise the alignment of company positioning and messaging with business objectives, ensuring consistency across all divisions and platforms.
  • Oversee REVELXP brand management.
  • Support business development efforts by assisting the preparation of RFPs and pitch presentations/decks.
  • Oversee content strategy and supervise corporate and divisional marketing initiatives to ensure adherence to brand standards.
