Within NorthEast Electrical we offer a supportive culture and great benefits, and as part of the larger Sonepar group, we can offer exciting opportunities to grow your career.  As a member of the CDC Warehouse, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, data entry, record keeping, and shipping of returned and defective material in accordance with the Company’s policies and operational requirements. The person in this position is exposed to all elements that exist in a warehouse environment where the noise level is usually moderate. The person in this position will frequently lift and/or move up to 100lbs using PIT equipment.

Requirements

  • Product knowledge is desirable.
  • Good math and communication skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Nice To Haves

  • Eclipse knowledge preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Accurately complete paperwork, documentation and data tracking on all vendor and customer returns.
  • Receive and process branch to branch transfers
  • Work with internal resources to resolve customer and vendor issues.
  • Data entry for tracking returns and/or Transfers
  • Work with transportation on driver returns and additional pickups.
  • Complete paperwork, documentation, and data input into excel and Eclipse in accordance with established procedures.
  • Accurately receive, store, pick and ship material in a timely manner.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized.
  • Perform other duties as required or directed by Manager including general receiving task such as
  • Load and unload trucks, move and put away material in a safe manner using forklift, pallet jack, handcart or other device.
  • Count, check, prepare and record items being received or shipped.
  • Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize and routes material for safe delivery or storage.
