Perfection Hy-Test Company is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Returns Processors. As part of Marmon Holdings, Inc., we pride ourselves on our decentralized organization that values the contributions of our employees. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of functions within our distribution center, which include receiving, stocking, loading, and unloading merchandise. You will also be tasked with picking orders and operating heavy-duty equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with overtime as required. Your primary responsibilities will include unloading incoming products and stocking them according to established guidelines. You will pick customer orders by following the customer order process, palettize orders, wrap, and stage them according to standard operating procedures. Additionally, you will be responsible for repacking orders, re-labeling cartons as per customer requests, and ensuring compliance with all safety guidelines. It is essential to maintain good housekeeping and safe working conditions while performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned. To succeed in this role, you must be able to operate a forklift and order picker. A strong understanding of inventory management, along with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, is crucial. We are looking for individuals who are willing to learn and adapt, possess reading and writing skills, and hold a forklift certification. Physical stamina is required, as you will be standing for long periods and lifting weights ranging from 20 to 50 pounds regularly, with the ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally. This position may expose you to various physical demands, including walking, standing, pushing, pulling, and occasionally stooping, kneeling, or crouching. You will also need to have specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The work environment may include exposure to moving mechanical parts, varying temperatures, and moderate noise levels.
