About The Position

The Logistics Coordinator/Returns Specialist processes information pertaining to merchandise returned to the Warehouse. This role involves scanning returns, printing return labels, and examining merchandise against original requisitions to record details such as quantity, type of defect, and date on invoices or other forms. The specialist will enter return information into the computer, prepare internal Furniture Return Logs, and track all inventory transactions made through the returns process. The position requires physical labor and computer skills to unload returns, scan them, record information about issues, and follow up on returns.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old
• Able to perform the essential functions of the job
• Pass a pre-employment physical

• Previous 12 months delivery of furniture or appliances or moving company experience

Responsibilities

• Quality Inspection and Documentation
• Returns Processing and follow-up
• Record keeping and reports to guarantee inventory control and security
• Assist in physical inventories
• Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, repacking, and scanning as needed
• Become knowledgeable about other areas of the warehouse
• Maintain a safe, clean, neat, and orderly work area
