About The Position

This position is for any person who has previously worked for Spencer's / Spirit Halloween in an Assistant Store Manager position. The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in the staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of a Seasonal Store. The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store ensuring maximum sales/profitability by establishing and maintaining Guest Services, developing staff, controlling expenses, shrinkage and all aspects of merchandising and inventory control.

Requirements

• Must have previously worked for Spencer's / Spirit Halloween in an Assistant Store Manager position.
• Minimum age requirement is 18.
• Prior retail management experience is required.
• Must have a flexible schedule.
• Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours.
• Ability to climb ladders and set up fixtures.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in staffing and setup of the store.
• Assist in merchandising and pack-up of the store.
• Oversee teardown of the Seasonal Store.
• Ensure maximum sales and profitability of the store.
• Establish and maintain Guest Services.
• Develop staff and control expenses.
• Manage shrinkage and inventory control.
