The Role: We’re looking for a responsible and proactive person to join the Returnable Packaging Program (RPP) . Their main function will be to prepare, organize, and ensure the correct flow of returnable bags and materials received at the Hoboken facility, guaranteeing operational efficiency and compliance with sustainability standards.
Requirements
- Experience in operational, logistics, or warehouse tasks.
- Forklift operation (with valid license).
- Ability to lift moderate weight and stand for long periods.
- Availability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in sustainability programs or handling returnable materials.
- Bilingual abilities (English and Spanish).
- Ability to work on weekends.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize the unloading area for returnable packaging.
- Receive, sort, and classify returnable bags delivered by drivers.
- Move bags and ice to the designated containers.
- Palletize and coordinate delivery with the cleaning company.
- Verify that all pallets are in perfect condition and properly assembled for pickup.
- Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety in the work area.
- Operate the forklift safely and responsibly.
