About The Position

The Retro Crew Lead is responsible for the installation and modification of electrical systems in new construction homes after the rough-in stage. This includes installing or replacing customer-requested wiring changes, as well as adding or removing power, switches, lighting, and other electrical components.

Requirements

• Accuracy with measurements
• Ability to scale prints and properly read prints
• Ability to multitask
• Electrical knowledge to rewire existing work to current code and needs.
• Residential electrical knowledge and skillset
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have basic electrical knowledge.
• Must have basic construction safety knowledge.
• Must be able to lift up to ­­­­­60 pounds at times.
• Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, climbing ladders and digging
• Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
• Must be able to work in confined spaces and attic work.
• Must be able to use hand and power tools for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work outside in all types of weather, including high temperature and under the sun.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.
• Must be able to sit and drive for extended periods of time to reach service locations.
• Ability to safely operate company van in various weather and road conditions.

Responsibilities

• Aiding in installation of rough wiring or trim work for builder changes etc throughout the process of new home construction
• Ensuring all work is done in a neat and workmanlike manner and done to our customers specifications.
• Maintaining safe work environment for the crew.
• Properly filling out work orders
• Reporting findings to supervisor or management.
