About The Position

Purcell Tire and Service Centers leading the industry in quality products & service, operational excellence, and people development. As a full-time Retread Technician, your mission is to assist in the production of the industry’s highest-quality retreads by performing specific retreading job assignments per company specifications, standards, and time frames. Requirements

• Ability to pass a background & drug screen
• Ability to work both independently and as a team
• Ability to lift, push, and/or pull heavy objects

Responsibilities

• Examine tire casing suitability for repair and retreading
• Work retreading stations as per specification
• Safely operate equipment to buff, skive, repair, envelope, or cure tires
• Safely trim, paint, and tag finished tires
• Make final tire repair inspection and place with finished stock
• Ensure work order completion: proper work and identification
• Maintain equipment in good operating condition
• Maintain a clean working environment
• Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols
• Protect company assets (inventory, receivables, equip & real estate)
• Other essential and non-essential duties, as assigned by management
