About The Position
As a Retirement Planning Consultant at Transamerica, you will play a crucial role in providing educational and planning services to retirement clients, both virtually and in person. Your primary responsibility will be to promote retirement plans, educate participants, and manage various educational campaigns. You will conduct group meetings and one-on-one counseling sessions to address the retirement and investment needs of participants, ensuring they have a clear understanding of the retirement product solutions available to them. This position requires a proactive approach to generating leads and managing projects effectively, all while delivering exceptional service to clients. In this role, you will develop and execute strategies aimed at encouraging participants to take action towards achieving a fully funded retirement. This includes delivering workshops, webinars, and enrollment meetings that align with both client and Transamerica goals. You will also conduct personalized retirement planning meetings with client employees, utilizing Transamerica's products and services to help them formulate strategies that meet their retirement objectives. Your ability to provide insights into the funds offered under each client plan, including their objectives and performance, will be essential in guiding participants towards informed decisions. Additionally, you will identify opportunities for asset gathering and retention, making necessary connections to the Transamerica Advice Center for consolidation through retirement plans and IRA options. It will be your responsibility to ensure that participants fully understand their product options and to work collaboratively with those who have multi-product needs, connecting them with other product specialists as required. Documenting participant interactions and tracking progress towards their goals will be vital, and you will be expected to participate in projects aimed at enhancing the Retirement Education and Planning Services Organization.
