About The Position

As the Retirement Plan Support Specialist, you will support Retirement Plan Advisors. This role helps to manage day-to-day client activity including prospecting support, building compelling new business presentations, client onboarding, and ongoing client service. How you’ll spend your time: You will provide administrative support, including activities with third-party recordkeepers, the distribution of recurring plan investment reviews, and assisting in resolving client requests. You will analyze target markets and identify potential new business opportunities, using tools such as Free Erisa, Larkspur, providing constructive feedback to sales team. You will maintain benchmarking software by reviewing, updating, and inputting competitor performance and fee information. You will assist in fee processing, invoice creation/distribution, and timely collection of advisory fees for Retirement Plan Services account relationships. You will assist in maintaining the necessary sales and referral information in CRM, and track all referral activity related to RPS. You will handle arrangements for meetings, sales events, travel, and expense reimbursements as needed. You will help onboard new Advisors / retirement staff and updates onboarding materials and handbook for training where applicable. You will perform other duties as assigned. We’re excited to talk to you if: You possess a Bachelor’s Business Administration/Management, Economics, or Finance. You have 3-5 years within the financial services industry. You are proficient in using the Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe suite. You are detail oriented with a high level of accuracy. You show an understanding of financial services products, particularly related to retirement plans and investment products and services. You have solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify problems and recommend appropriate follow-up action. You have excellent organizational and time management skills. You have excellent interpersonal skills that result in establishing and maintaining good relations with internal and external customers throughout the entire sales process. You have ability to work alone to get the job done as well as with a team to meet deadlines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Business Administration/Management, Economics, or Finance.
  • 3-5 years within the financial services industry.
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe suite.
