Prosperity- An EisnerAmper Company is seeking a detail-oriented Retirement Plan Specialist (RPS) to join our wealth management team. The RPS will oversee the daily operations and administration of our clients’ retirement plans, including 401(k) and small business plans. This role is the primary contact for plan sponsors and participants, ensuring exceptional service, compliance, and operational efficiency. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of experience in 401ks required.
  • 2+ years of proven experience in retirement plan administration, preferably in a wealth management or financial service environment.
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent client service and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with retirement plan platforms (RPAG) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint).

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Cash Balance Combination Plan arrangements and Non-Qualified Retirement Plans is preferred.
  • Series 6, 7, or 65 license preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, prepare, and present materials for retirement plan fiduciary review meetings including investment research, fee-benchmarking analysis, and compliance reporting.
  • Advise plan sponsors on investments, compliance regulations, and plan design options.
  • Serve as the primary resource for plan sponsors, coordinating with recordkeepers and third-party administrators to resolve issues and ensure effective plan administration.
  • Develop, prepare, and present materials for retirement plan participant education meetings.
  • Provide plan participants with guidance on retirement preparation, procedural details, and in resolving issues with vendors.
  • Assist with new business opportunities, plan analysis, and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with recordkeepers, TPAs, and internal teams to maintain accurate plan records, facilitate investment updates, plan design changes, and ensure fiduciary responsibilities are met.
  • Prepare and distribute client communication and educational materials.
