Overview In this role, you ll learn the fundamentals of retirement plan compliance, operations, and client service while supporting a portfolio of employersponsored retirement plans (such as 401(k), 403(b), and profitsharing plans). You will work directly with plan sponsors to process annual requirements, resolve discrepancies in plan processes, and ensure adherence to current regulations.

Requirements

  • High School diploma/equivalent plus 1 year directly applicable experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic math skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Proficient in using technology as a tool to maximize productivity and quality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree, professional certification, or equivalent training and experience preferred.
  • Previous experience managing client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the administration of qualified retirement plans under ERISA and IRS regulations
  • Prepare annual compliance testing, including ADP/ACP, coverage, and topheavy tests
  • Support the preparation of Form 5500 and related government filings
  • Reconcile plan contributions, participant data, and trust accounting reports
  • Communicate with clients, financial advisors, and recordkeepers to gather required information
  • Maintain accurate plan records and documentation
  • Help troubleshoot plan issues and support senior administrators with special projects
  • Participate in ongoing training to develop technical knowledge of retirement plan rules and industry best practices.
