About The Position

The Retirement Plan Consultant II at Corebridge Financial plays a crucial role in guiding plan sponsors and employees through the complexities of retirement savings plans. This position is centered around providing objective advice tailored to the specific needs of clients, ensuring that both plan sponsors and eligible employees are well-informed and equipped to make sound financial decisions. The consultant will conduct individual and group presentations, utilizing both in-person and video technology to enhance awareness of plan features and to promote the growth of plan assets. These presentations will encompass a variety of formats, including enrollment meetings, age-based financial education sessions, and advanced financial literacy discussions, all tailored to the needs of the plan sponsor or as dictated by the communication and education strategy in place. In addition to presentations, the Retirement Plan Consultant will actively engage in benefit fairs and new employee orientations, providing essential information and support to new hires. Participation in the annual plan review and the financial education planning process is also a key responsibility, ensuring that the retirement plans remain relevant and beneficial to participants. The consultant will work closely with the Relationship Manager and/or District Vice President to deliver targeted education aimed at increasing participation and deferral rates among employees. Meeting with participants and eligible employees to educate them about plan participation is a fundamental aspect of this role, fostering a culture of financial literacy and proactive retirement planning.
