This is a full-time, remote role for a Retirement Plan Administrator. The role involves managing the administration of 401(k), profit sharing and cash balance plans, including performing compliance testing, preparing contribution calculations, and maintaining accurate plan records. The individual will work closely with clients to provide high-quality service, ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, and facilitate smooth communication between clients and other financial professionals. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting client issues, assisting in retirement plan design recommendations, and supporting annual plan reviews.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of experience in the industry
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Retirement Plans – specifically Defined Contribution plans and Defined Benefit plans
  • Understand compliance testing
  • Extensive knowledge of ERISA and Internal Revenue Code and Regulations.
  • Attention to detail, analytical problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

Nice To Haves

  • ASPPA or other industry-related certifications are a plus
